In order to evaluate the intuitiveness and user-friendliness as well as the combination of several forms of interaction of the POD, a multimodal interaction concept was implemented.
The standard touch-operated DMC POD was extended by concircle with voice and gesture control as a custom plug-in.
In further steps, the speech recognition will be improved to further reduce the susceptibility to interference from e.g. ambient noise, in order to be able to optimally apply this function in production.
