Successful implementation of integrated allocation management
Initial situation
Miba Gleitlager Austria GmbH faced the challenge of making its allocation management more efficient. The previous process was based on a non-integrated Power BI solution, which meant that problems with allocation quantities only became apparent after the data had been updated. In addition, there was no integration with the ATP check, which could lead to orders being confirmed even though sufficient quantities were not available. This had a direct impact on delivery reliability and planning accuracy.
Solution
To meet these challenges, concircle worked with Miba Gleitlager Austria GmbH to implement conDP for integrated allocation management. This innovative solution offers numerous advantages:
- Problems with allocations are now immediately apparent without the need for manual data updates.
- Direct navigation to the SAP system enables detailed analysis of order data in real time.

Extension through conAlloc Check
In addition, the conAlloc quota check has been implemented, which offers an innovative method for determining allocation occupancy:
- Increased data consistency, as order allocations no longer need to be updated.
- Allocation assignments are always determined at runtime, which means that master data changes are taken into account immediately.
- No time-consuming realignment is required, which significantly reduces the administrative effort.
- A time-dependent soft/hard check offers more flexibility than the SAP standard, as it can be controlled variably depending on combinations and order types.
- The conAlloc check is fully integrated into the standard ATP availability check.
Allocation cockpit and status concept for maximum transparency
In addition, a comprehensive allocation cockpit with a structured status concept was developed. This ensures that it is always clear which orders are being processed by whom and at what escalation level. This transparency improves cooperation between departments and enables more efficient order processing.
