Efficient Tank and Workforce Scheduling at Alpinamed – directly integrated into SAP S/4HANA
How can tanks, material flows, and workforce deployment be perfectly aligned in highly regulated production processes?
Our customer Alpinamed shows how it’s done: with the implementation of SAP ePP/DS (enhanced production planning and scheduling), the entire tank planning process is now mapped centrally in the ERP system – transparent, end-to-end, and controllable in real time.
In parallel, conPEP, a concircle add-on, was introduced for SAP-integrated workforce planning. This enables staff to be scheduled by site and facility – closely linked to machine capacities. Downtime and bottlenecks can be identified immediately and compensated for directly in the system.

Secure and Flexible Digitalization of Production with SAP DM, SAP CALM, and Test Automation.
Experience how modern production processes in the life sciences industry can be efficiently digitalized through the targeted use of SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM) and SAP S/4HANA. Using concrete practical examples, we will demonstrate how seamless integration and end-to-end process reliability in manufacturing become a reality.
A special focus will be placed on the added value that test automation with Tricentis Tosca in combination with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) provides—particularly for critical and regulated processes such as manufacturing. The goal is to enable agile adjustments without compromising quality, compliance, or efficiency.

Validation According to GAMP5 and Maintaining Compliance in Operations – The Example of SAP DM at Carl Zeiss Medical Technology
On the path to a smart or digital factory, SAP DM as a SaaS manufacturing public cloud solution sets new standards, enhancing quality and efficiency in production.
Like all computerized systems, SAP DM must be validated according to GAMP5 and maintained in a compliant state when used in the highly regulated pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. Using the concrete example of agile implementation and validation at Carl Zeiss Medical Technology, this presentation provides answers to questions such as:
