Insights – Digital Manufacturing

SAP Digital Manufacturing for Insights (DMi) is a cloud-based analytics solution that provides numerous analysis and evaluation options for the manufacturing industry. The SAP Digital Manufacturing for Insights (DMi) is closely linked to the SAP Digital Manufacturing for Execution (DMe) and in particular evaluates data collected in the DMe processes. However, integration of S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Plant Connectivity and Production Connector is possible, which means that data beyond DMe can also be analysed and displayed. SAP DMi increases the transparency of production processes by providing real-time information at both the plant and global levels. Furthermore, DMi uses DMe data to calculate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Other standard metrics are available out of the box. It is possible to create individual key figures. All key figures can be visualised on standard dashboards at the plant and global levels. With the Dashboard Designer, custom dashboards can be created to display KPIs.
